Jabari Asim is currently the Elma Lewis Distinguished Fellow and Professor at Emerson College. He is both the Graduate Program Director of the MFA program and the Program Director for the James Baldwin Writers Colony. He will continue to hold these positions as he also joins Celadon Books as Literary Acquisitions Advisor. Jabari Asim is the author of seven books for adults, most recently the novel Yonder, and has written twelve books for children, including A Child's Introduction to African American History, Preaching to the Chickens, Whose Toes Are Those, and Me and Muhammad Ali.
